Concerning Sheep, Giving it Up, No More Suffering, and Let's Be Nice!

This course contains the following modules:

1) Concerning Sheep

Through a parable of a baby tiger raised by sheep, we learn the importance of developing ourselves as spiritually inclined individuals.

2) Giving it Up

Yoga Sutra 1.23 is one of my favorites, and it was Patanjali's, too. He repeats it four times throughout the yoga sutra, which gives it great importance and relevance in our practice.

3) Let's Be Nice

Basically, I answer the question - "What are we doing here?" ... We are all here to become nicer people.

4) No More Suffering

How do we become happy and free in this life? By letting go of our attachments and releasing ourselves from suffering.

Alanna is "the teacher's teacher" and is listed as one of Yoga Journal's top 20 teachers under 40. Her approach fills in what's missing in yoga: mythology. She is anti-dogmatic in all things, and her love of science confirms her spirituality, rather than negates it. Alanna’s vision picks up where Joseph Campbell left off — to empower people to connect with and embrace their humanness.
